Carmel Shalev is a public interest and academic lawyer and ethicist, who specializes in health, medicine, biotechnology, gender and human rights. Dr. Shalev is a graduate of the Hebrew University Faculty of Law and earned her doctoral degree from Yale Law School in the field of reproductive rights and feminist theory.
