Join us for an evening of celebration and discussion about women’s health, in the beautiful members’ club Vout-o-Reenee’s. Chaired by Watkins’ Senior Publicist (and Integrative Psychotherapist), Vikki Scott, this will be an inspiring and enlightening panel discussion featuring five brilliant Watkins authors.
Is it time to steer away from the medical model and view our health holistically? Or should we look at an integrative approach? From mental health to physical wellbeing, and from cooking to energy healing, our Watkins authors will discuss innovative, accessible ways that we can reinvent our approaches to becoming healthy and vibrant in the modern world.
— Tally Fosh, psychotherapist and author of Hooked: Why We Are Addicted and How to Break Free, will talk about mental health, and addictive beahviours in particular.
— Sophie Scott is a UKCP psychotherapist and author of forthcoming You Are Not Alone in This), and will talk about will talk about the challenges of supporting a loved one’s mental health without losing your own, and why this affects women in particular.
— Briana Pegado, the author of Make Good Trouble: A Practical Guide to the Energetics of Disruption, will talk about her journey to becoming an Energy Healer, and the implications for personal health and wellbeing.
— Jackie Lynch, acclaimed nutritionist and author of The Happy Menopause, will share her wisdom and insight into perimenopause and menopause, and ways to improve our health during this time.
— Franzie Paz, whose new book Plant Feasts just came out, will show how nutritious plant-based food and drink can transform your physical and mental health.
