New book looks ahead to a generation of young people who will come of age in 2030 and will revolutionize our world.
Advance praise for The Phoenix Generation: “A new phase in human history is in the making, one that is as inevitable as tomorrow’s sunrise. The Phoenix Generation is a blueprint for tomorrow–a vision of renewed meaning, hope and optimism.”–Larry Dossey, M.D., author of One Mind.
According to sociologist Kingsley L. Dennis, humanity is entering a momentous phase in its history. Being born today is a generation of children that will radically reinvent human society; moving our culture from competition, control, and censorship toward connection, communication, and compassion.
The Phoenix Generation draws upon sociology, psychology, science, and spiritual wisdom to describe how a new generation of young minds being born today will lead the way in transforming our outmoded global systems and values; such as economics, education, health, media, politics, and well-being. Those of the Phoenix Generation will lead a bloodless revolution against the world’s centralized power structures.
Within the Phoenix Generation, the quantum revolution begun 100 years ago will become mainstream. This will trigger a shift in our technologies, the way we perceive our relationship to the larger cosmos, and will radically revise our human goals upon the planet. The Phoenix Generation will work toward forming a planetary society—a transition more radical than the shift from agrarian to urban life during the Industrial Revolution.
Says Kingsley, “We are moving toward the empowerment of the individual—of each human being. We see this in the rise of social media, peer-to-peer networks, and increasing interest among our youth in NGOs and service careers. The much-talked-about Indigo Children were a precursor to the Phoenix, but they did not reach a tipping point. The Phoenix will carry forward the hopes that so many put into them.”
